The Clinton Herald Tuesday July 1, 1969 p. 10 Clarence C. Lueders, 65, of 2604 N. 2nd St., died this morning in Lyons. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Pape funeral home where funeral arrangements are pending.

The Clinton Herald Wednesday July 2, 1969 p. 10 Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Pape funeral home for Clarence C. Lueders, 65, of 2604 N. 2nd St., who died Tuesday. Rev. M.S. Bredow, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Henry Zaehringer, Albert Warren, Delbert Thomsen, Peter Ketelsen, Charles Bower and Joseph Malhoit. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Lueders was born May 23, 1904 in Clinton, the son of Gus and Anna Roenfeldt Lueders. He farmed in the Clinton area for many years. He married Mathilda Knutsen in Charlotte, Feb. 24, 1926. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald, Russell and Richard, all of Clinton, a daughter, Mrs. A.P. (Arla) Sipes of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Henry of Clinton; and two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Jeanette) Gradert, and Mrs. Sherman (Vera) Baldwin, both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
