The Clinton Herald Monday February 6, 1961 p. 8 Miss Clara C. Kofahl, 72, of 1337 Main Ave., died at 10 a.m. Sunday in Jane Lamb hospital. The body is in the Pape funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. M.S. Bredow of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Olive Branch Rebecca Lodge 359 will conduct services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Members of the U.C.T. auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home and will attend the funeral together. Miss Kofahl was born June 24, 1888 in Lyons, the daughter of Emil and Helmina Boe Kofahl. She had worked as a store manager for Sperry and Hutchinson for 17 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Olive Branch Rebecca Lodge, Olive Branch Degree Staff, the Past Grands' club, U.C.T. No. 75 auxiliary, Past Grand U.C.T. auxiliary, secretary of the L.E.A., Grand Inside Sentinel of the L.E.A. Grand and a member of the American Legion auxiliary. Survivors include one sister, Alma, at home; two brothers, J.A. Kofahl of Las Vegas, Nev. and Leslie of Clinton; nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
