The Clinton Herald Wednesday November 4, 1981 p. 9 Mrs. Mary C. Lingle, 91, of Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton, formerly of Preston, died Tuesday in Wyndcrest. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Firday in St. John's Lutheran Chruch, Preston, with the Rev. Marvin Beninga officiating. Burial will be in Miles Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday in Miller Funeral Home, Preston. Pallbearers will be grandsons. She was born Dec. 28, 1889, in Teeds Grove, Iowa, to Christian and Carrie Evensen Lielsen. She married Adolph Jensen Dec. 29, 1909. He died in 1958. She married Earl Lingle Nov. 30, 1960. He died in 1976. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Myrtle) Lehmann of Elizabeth, Ill.; two sons, Harold Jensen of Stockton, Ill., and Donald Jensen of Clinton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Lilian) Bier of Hillsdale, Ill., and Mrs. Eleanor Norskov of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, two sisters and three brothers.
