The Clinton Herald Wednesday November 4, 1981 p. 9 The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton, for Harold Edward Mallicoat, 60, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Clinton. He died Sunday in his home in Scottsdale. The Rev. Peter Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton. Pallbearers will be Arnold Berntsen, Chris Boysen, Ray Holm, Herbert Kirchdoerfer, Jerry Meyer and William McCabe. Mr. Mallicoat was born April 25, 1921, in Wyoming, Iowa, to Hugh and Ethel Edwards Mallicoat. He married Donna Gieseman June 5, 1946, in Andrew. He was a former employee of Sears Roebuck Co., Clinton. A resident of Scottsdale, Ariz., for the past 12 years, he owned and operated Harold Mallicoat Realty Co. Century 21. He was a veteran of World War II in the army, and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Mallicoat of Clinton; three grandchildren; and a brother, Howard Mallicoat of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by a brother.
