The Clinton Herald Tuesday September 18, 1962 p. 8 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Snell-Smith funeral home for Mrs. Ralph Beal, 70, of Oakhurst Apartments, who died Monday. The Rev. Russell Wilson, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. She was born June 4, 1892 in Fostoria, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin and Adalade Straus Cowell. She was married Feb. 21, 1912 to Ralph W. Beal of Chicago and had been a resident of Clinton for 41 years. Survivors include two sons, Edwin of Clinton and Milton of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
