The Clinton Herald Monday May 15, 1978 p. 12 Vincent Holdgrafer, 76, 2334 N. 5th St., died Sunday at Mercy Hospital. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Church, with the Revs. Harold O'Connor and Francis Duncan officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. He was born May 23, 1901, in Clinton County, to William and Therse Rose Holdgrafer. He married Angeline Droste Oct. 23, 1923, at St. Boniface Church. He was a member of St. Boniface Church and a retired foreman for Curtis Co. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Beatrice) Josten, Clinton; three sons, Paul, Indianapolis, Ind., Maurice, Clinton, and William, Manhasset,N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Fier, Maquoketa, Mrs. Lena Fier, Mrs. Eva Borman and Mrs. Margaret Kennedy, all of Clinton; and three brothers, Anthony, Central City, Al, Sprageueville, and Joe, Clinton. He was preceded in death by a brother.
