Welton.

A telegram was received here Friday from Milton, Wisconsin, announcing the sad news of the death of Lena Forsythe. Her father, mother and sister were present when the end came which occurred at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. The remains were brought to Welton, Saturday and the funeral was held Sunday at the Seveth Day Baptist Church, Rev. G. W. Burdick, assisted by Elder Peddicord of Delmar, conducting the services. A quartet composed of Mrs. U. S. Van Horn, Mrs. A. Gregoire, O. A. Hurley, and W. A. Johnson sang several selections. The altar was banked by a profusion of flowers, one piece being sent by students of Milton College. Lena was a bright girl of sunny disposition and had many friends who will miss her. The pallbearers were H. R. and L. L. Loofboro, Warren Walrod, A. Gregroire, Otto Vanon and W. J. Loofboro.
