Funeral service for Mrs. Martin Hardersen, 85, 835 11th Ave. S., who died Wednesday in Jane Lamb Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Chancy Lutheran Church with the Rev. William King officiating.
Burial will follow in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at Snell-Smith funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Harold Nelson, Elmer Domsalla, Cliff Peters, Ted Tholen, Oakley Carlsen and Louis Lund.
Helga Jurgensen was born Oct. 3, 1883 in Germany, the daughter of Magnus and Fredericka Koch[sic] Jurgensen. She was married to Martin P. Hardersen, Oct. 9, 1901, in Clinton, and was a member of the Chancy Lutheran Church.
Survivors include on daughter, Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Detlefsen of Clinton; one sister Mrs. C.W. (Hannah) Weinbeck of Clinton; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, one son, three brothers and two sisters.
