Peter Hardersen, former Clinton resident, died at 2 a.m. today in his Franklin Park, Ill., home, following a short illness. Word was received here by his sister-in-law, Mrs. C.W. Weinbeck, 325 Sixteenth avenue, South.Clinton Herald, Tuesday, August 2, 1938 page 5
Burial rites for Peter Hardersen, former Clinton man who died Monday morning in his Franklin Park, Ill., home will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Springdale cemetery. The body will arrive this evening and will repose in Snell's funeral home.
Mr. Hardersen, a Spanish-American war veteran, was married in 1919 to Mrs. Mary Wilson in Clinton.
He leaves a daughter, Mary Jane, of Franklin Park, and a son, Peter, of that city; three step-children, Mrs. Fred Utroska of St. Charles, Ill., Mrs, J.H. Carey of Oak Park, Ill., and George Wilson of Franklin Park; two sisters, Mrs. John McNulty of Clinton and Mrs. William Thiede of Chicago, and two brothers, Martin and John of Clinton. His wife died in 1928.
