The Clinton Herald Monday October 3, 1927 p. 6 A.L. Ware of San Francisco died Saturday afternoon in that city where temporary burial will take place. There are left a sister, Mrs. Jennie Magill Wainwright of Louisville, Kentucky and a brother, Edward Ware of Los Angeles. His mother was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chancy Lamb and his father one of the well known rivermen of earlier days, one of the immediate family not in Clinton. Mrs. F.W. Ellis and Fred Ware, both deceased, were sister and brother.
