SCHOENING, SCHROEDER, MOMSEN

The Clinton Herald Saturday April 18, 1908 p. 6 About six o'clock this morning Frederick Schoenig died very suddenly at his home on Seventh street and Fourth avenue. Death was due to neuralgia of the heart from which Mr. Schoening has suffered at times for years. Mr. Schoening was born in Germany, about seventy-three years ago. He has been a resident of Lyons for the past twelve years. His sudden death will be recieved by his many friends here and throughout the county with earnest sorrow for the loss of the genial, whole souled man who had always been respected and esteemed. He leaves besides his wife, five sons, August living near Lyons, Ferdinand of this city, Henry near Bryant, Fred, Jr., at Elvira and William of Center Township. Also three daughters; Mrs. Shroeder of Elvira and Mrs. Momsen, of Bryant. The funeral will take place from the residence Tuesday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be made in the Ingwersen cemetery near Bryant.
