FULTON, Ill. — Lorraine L. Musk, 82, of 1104 1/2 4th Street, Fulton, IL, died November 28, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fulton, IL, with the Rev. Father David Austin, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fulton, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007, at the Fulton Chapel-Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice and Mass offerings. She was born November 4, 1925, in Newberry, MI, to Frederick and Delia (Schafter) Lyons. She was educated in the Thomson Grade School, Thomson, IL. She was a 1943 graduate of Fulton High School, Fulton, IL. She married Dr. E. Ervin Musk on June 25, 1950, in Fulton, IL. He died November 11, 2002. She was a homemaker.She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fulton, IL. She was a charter member of the Quad-Cities Cardinal Fan Club and Fulton American Legion Auxiliary. She was an active member of the Plus 55 Bowling League, Clinton, IA. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ann (Mrs. Stanley) Giddings of Morrison, IL, Margaret Musk of Fulton, IL, and Jean (Mrs. Donald) Dettman of Newton, IA; six grandchildren, Nathan and Todd Giddings; Emma, Jacob, Mitchell and Aubrey Dettman; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Blake and Tyler Giddings; one sister, Mary (Mrs. Bernard) Housenga of Fulton, IL; and one brother, Robert Lyons of Waterford, CT. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son in infancy, one sister, Helen Heffernan; two brothers, Joseph and Fred Lyons (both in infancy). Casket bearers will be Stanley Giddings, Donald Dettman, Mitchell Dettman, Jacob Dettman, Nathan Giddings and Todd Giddings. Honorary casket bearer will be Cody Giddings.
