LECLAIRE — Elaine J. Leeper, 74, of 22760 — 282nd Avenue, LeClaire, IA 52753, died Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Genesis East Hospital, Davenport. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. The Rev. Bruce Wilterdink, interim pastor of First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, and the Rev. Tom Merchant, pastor of Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2007, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton, IL; Multiple Sclerosis Foundation; American Cancer Society; Susan B. Coleman Foundation. She was born February 3, 1933, in Chicago, IL, to Andrew and Jennie (DeYoung) Borgman. Elaine was educated in D.S. Wentworth Grade School and Chicago Christian High School, both in Chicago, IL. She married Loran A. Leeper on November 24, 1962, in Fulton, IL. He died March 11, 2006. Prior to having children, she was employed with the General Electric Co., Morrison, IL, then became a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton, IL; Harding School PTA, Clinton, IA; the Tag-A-Long Trailer Club; a Brownie leader, and a diehard Cubs fan. Survivors include three daughters, Susan (Mrs. Scott) Keegan, Clinton, IA, Cheryl (Mrs. Jim) Koele, Urbandale, IA, and Lori (Mrs. John) Carter, Katy, TX; one son, Jim Leeper, Grimes, IA; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Borgman, Storm Lake, IA, and Andy (Marguerite) Borgman, Crofton, MD.
