Lord, Duane J.

CLINTON — Duane J. Lord, age 80 of Clinton, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa. According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Inurnment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Duane was born on March 19, 1927, in Clinton, IA, the son of Vincent and Elsie (Determan) Lord. He was a veteran US Navy. He married Lucille Leibert on April 19, 1952, in Clinton. Duane worked as a carpenter for Ringland-Johnson Inc. for many years, retiring in 1977. Duane is survived by his wife, Lucille of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. Janice (Theodore) Knutsen of Clinton; and two grandchildren, Amy and Jeff.Death date: Nov. 10, 2007
