The Clinton Herald Monday April 23, 1979 p. 6 Mrs. Adelia Eggers, 90, of San Diego, Calif., and formerly of Clinton, died Sunday at her home in San Diego. Funeral arrangements are pending with cremation and burial in San Diego. Mrs. Eggers was born April 20, 1889, in Bryant, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gradert. She married Henry Ketelsen in Clinton County. He died in 1927. She married Peter Eggers in Clinton County who preceded her in death. She was formerly employed at Van Allen's in Clinton. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Phyllis) Hines of San Diego; a son, Gilbert C. Ketelsen of Camanche; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
