In Loving Memory 1937 - 2007 Clarence C. Ferrell, 70, of Clinton, IA, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at his home in Clinton. Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, in Clinton, IA.

Clarence was born on September 1, 1937, in Lincoln County, WV, the son of Allen and Della (Stowers) Ferrell. He was educated in the West Virginia Public Schools. He served in the U S Army and the Iowa National Guard. He married Sharon Voelkers on September 17, 1961 in Clinton, Iowa. Clarence had been employed at Champion International and retired in 1996 from Quantum Corporation, now Lyondell.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Ferrell of Clinton, IA; daughter, Rae Ann (Jerzy) Wojdylo of Cape Girardeau, MO; granddaughter, Helen and Sophia Wojdylo of Cape Girardeau, MO; brothers, James L. (Lou) Ferrell of Logan, WV; and Roy (Lily) Ferrell of Warsaw, NC; and a sister, Nancy (Bill) Wall of Logan, WV.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
