Farwell, Robert Cody

Robert Cody Farwell, 32, of Clinton, passed away Thursday at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 30th at 2:00 PM at Lemke Funeral Home-Lyons Chapel, 2304 N 2nd St., Clinton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Denny Wenzel, Chris Wagner, Tom King, Dean Farwell, Ken Farwell, and Jim Holle. Honorary casketbearers will be John Kucera, Jeff Keis, John Paschka, and Kevin Williams. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Robert was born on March 1, 1975 in Tarpon Springs, FL to Kenneth Farwell and Mary Kucera. He was a high school graduate and also received a two year tech degree from a school in Dubuque, IA. He was a honorably discharged from the United States Army. He married Codi Wagner on September 27, 2003 in Bryant, Iowa. He was employed as a roofer.

Robert is survived by his wife Codi, his two sons, Evan and Zane both at home, his mother, Mary Kucera of Clinton, his father, Kenneth Farwell of Goose lake, his two brothers, Ken Allen Farwell of Clinton, and Dean (Melanie) Farwell of Andover, IA, his two sisters, Jenny Farwell of Clinton, and Lynn Farwell of Dallas, TX, his uncle, John Kucera of Camanche, his father in law, John Paschka of Clinton, and his mother in law, Pam Paschka of Clinton, one brother in law, Chris Wagner, and one sister in law, Leslie Wagner.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
