Robert Mauck, 92, of Church Hill passed away on Wednesday (October 10, 2007) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a very brief illness.

He was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and resided in Church Hill for the past 30 years. He attended Clinton High School and graduated in 1933. He served in World War II with the United States Army. He retired from the United States Federal Government with 36 years of service. Robert Mauck was a member of First Baptist Church of Church Hill where he served as deacon. He was also very active at the church with the Men’s # 1 Sunday School Class. Robert was an avid golfer who also loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alma Mauck; a younger brother, Eugene Mauck along with a son-in-law, Gary Larsen.

Robert Mauck is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Audra Mauck; a daughter, Cynthia Larsen (Stafford, VA); a son, Charles Mauck and his wife, Susan (Littlestown, PA); his granddaughters, Sara Lawyer and Adele Mauck; his grandsons, Robert Larsen and John Larsen; a sister, Maxine Wagner (Clinton, Iowa); a brother, Gail Mauck (Clinton, Iowa) along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted last weekend in Church Hill, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Church Hill, P.O. Box 847, Church Hill, TN 37642.

The Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill is serving the Mauck Family.
