The Clinton Herald Friday October 18, 1901 p. 5 Michael Kinney of 525 Eighteenth avenue, died suddenly Thursday night. He had retired in the evening, apparently in his usual health, and, some time during the late hours of the night, aroused the members of his family saying he was very ill, and complaining of a pain in his side. He perspired profusely, and evinced other symptoms of heart trouble, and before anything could be done for hime he passed away. Coroner Hamilton was notified of his death, and this morning viewed the remains. He considered an inquest necessary, and this afternoon at 2 o'clock impannelled a jury and held the inquest. The deceased was 65 years of age, and was a well known and highly respected citizen of the city, having made his home here for many years. He was the father of Mrs. Maloney of the Maloney & Tobin restaurant, and is survived by other daughters and sons, and his wife. The funeral arrangements were not made today, but will be announced tomorrow.
