CLINTON — Richard “Dick” M. Wytrwal, 54, of Clinton, died Sunday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.The body was cremated.

He was born Nov. 19, 1952, in Clinton to Stan and Irene Wytrwal. He married Lynn Dolan on Aug. 19, 1972, in Clinton. He was vice president of Allied Business Accounts and worked in healthcare collections for more than 30 years. He was a member of AAHAM and served on the executive board of the Illinois state and national offices. He received his CCAM certification in 2005. As a certified instructor with the American Collectors Association he presented more than 350 educational classes. In 1992, he was awarded Instructor of the Year. He also was involved in a number of community and private organizations including the Jaycees, Clinton Little League Baseball, Moose Lodge, Fulton (Ill.) Country Club, Gateway Bass Busters, Cub Scouts Pack 63 and served on the St. Irenaeus church council.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn; sons, Erik of Chicago and Mikel of Iowa City; parents, Stan and Irene Wytrwal of Clinton; one sister, Donna (Dru) Seiver of Clinton; and one brother, John (Alicia) Wytrwal of Louisville, Ky.
