The Clinton Herald Monday March 2, 1970 p. 8 Mrs. Clyde Burlingame, 76, of Davenport, formerly of Clinton, died Sunday evening in Davenport Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Runge funeral home in Davenport. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery in Clinton. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Davenport funeral home. Gladys Judd was born Oct. 4, 1893, in Clinton. She married Mr. Clyde Burlingame here on July 29, 1914. They lived in Clinton until moving to Davenport in 1928. Survivors include four sons, William and Eugene, both of Davenport, Robert of Marmora, N.J., and Kenneth of Mays Landing, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. George (Marion) Oertel of Davenport; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Woodworth Judd of Clinton; and four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Hyatt and Mrs. Harriett Ytsen. both of Clinton, Mrs. Hazel Atkinson of Port Byron, Ill., and Mrs. Mildred Lund of Polson, Mont. She was preceded in death by her husband.
