The Clinton Herald Friday June 6, 2003 p. 9A Thomas "Tom" Determan, 64, of Clinton, died Wednesday at his home. Litergy Outside of Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Lemke Funeral Home Chapel Clinton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday with a vigil service beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Clinton. He was born April 28, 1939, in Clinton to Raymond and Wilhemine Manning Determan. He married Linda Mulder on Sept. 11, 1965, in Clinton. He was educated at St. Irenaeus Catholic School, Clinton. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Clinton. He owned the Sinclair Gas Station, Clinton. He later drove with Drewry Beverage Co. He retired from the Ralston Purina Co. in 1999 after 30 years of employment. Survivors include his wife, Linda; five sons, Eugene Determan of Clinton, Todd (Lisa) Determan of Clinton, Randy (Angi) Determan of Camanche, Terry Determan of Clinton and Jeremy Determan of Clinton; one brother, Gerald (Doris) Determan of Clinton; six grandchildren; and many nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a grandson. Memorials may be made to the family. Death Date: June 4, 2003.
