The Clinton Herald Friday January 11, 1946 p. 10 Funeral services for Charles F. Judd, 85, former resident of Clinton and an uncle of Mayor W.N. Judd, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Wheelan funeral home, Rock Island, Ill. Mr. Judd died Wednesday in St. Anthony's hospital, Rock Island. Born Feb. 21, 1861, in Whitehall, N.Y., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Levy Judd and resided in New York until coming to Clinton in 1891. Mr. Judd moved ot Rock Island in 1901 and was employed as an assembler at the R.I. Plow works from that time until the company dissolved. He was a 40-year member of the Eagles lodge of Clinton. Mr. Judd married Mrs. Ellen Droney here Oct. 12, 1918. Surviving besides the widow are a stepdaughter, Miss Francis Droney of Rock Island and a brother Horace N. Judd, also Rock Island.
