LADY TO WHOSE HONOR CHARLOTTE WAS NAMED IS DEAD.

Another of the pioneers of Charlotte has gone to receive the reward that comes at the close of a long and well spent life.

In the death of Mrs. Charlotte Gilmore, which occurred at the home of her son, Charles, at Sioux Rapids, last Thursday, the woman in honor of whom Charlotte received its name, passed to the unknown beyond at the advanced age of 92 years. She was 25 years of age when she was accorded this distinction and Charlotte will stand as a living monument to one who was highly respected by those who knew her. She will be well remembered by the few who were residents here when she was one of us, who will long cherish her memory.
