The Clinton Herald Thursday April 15, 1976 p. 8 The funeral for Clarence Ott, 75, who died Wednesday morning, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland. The Rev. Harold Koenig will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Pallbearers will be Paul Riedesel, Gary Schocker, Allen Schocker, Dale Ott, Clark Ott and Dean Ott. He was born Feb. 1, 1901 in Wheatland the son of Henry and Louisa Riedesel Ott and married Edna Beckmann Sept. 16, 1926, in Wheatland. Mr. Ott was a member of Zeradatha Lodge AF & AM, the Clinton Consistory, and St. Paul's Christ. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Dorothy) Schocker, Anamosa, two sons, Donald, Wheatland, and David, Cedar Rapids, 14 grandchildren and a sister, Ella Ott, Wheatland. Mr. Ott was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.
