SERVICES: 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Savanna, with Reverend Larry Thomson of the First United Methodist Church officiating.

SAVANNA. Ill. — Guy A. Turner, 49, of Savanna, Ill., died Thursday at home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Clinton, to Jerry A. and Betty Goodell Turner. He was raised by his mother and father, Sherman Guenzler. On April 23, 1977, he married Joy Fosdick.He graduated from the Chadwick High School in 1976. He served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jessica (Michael) Lowry of Davenport; his godson, Timothy Miller of Savanna; parents Betty and Sherman Guenzler of Chadwick, Ill. and Jerry Turner of Camanche; three brothers; Jerry (Colleen) Turner of Manchester, New Hamp., Kevin Turner of Davenport, and Glenn Turner of Manchester, New Hamp.; his sister, Tina (Eric) Siegel of Lanark, Ill.; three step-brothers, Jeffrey (Beth) Guenzler of Aurora, Ill.; Michael (Rina) Guenzler of Port Orchard, Wash., and Brian (Amy) Guenzler of Nauvoo, Ala.; his father and mother-in-law, Bob (Patt) Fosdick of Savanna; and the Fosdick family.
