The Clinton Herald Thursday May 10, 1951 p, 20 Mrs. William N. Judd, 67, of 838 Thirteenth avenue South, wife of State Rep. William N. Judd, died at 12:10 a.m.today in Jane Lamb hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been in failing health for several months. The body was taken to the Snell funeral home where friends may call beginning this evening. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Dr. L.D. Havinghurst officiating. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Mrs. Judd was born Katherine Paulsen, Dec. 6, 1884, in Flensburg, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Paulsen. Came to Clinton with her parents in 1886, and has been a resident of Clinton since. She was married to William N. Judd, Jan. 4,, 1906, in Clinton. She was a member of the First Methodist church, Ladies of the Iowa Legislative league, Women of the Moose, B. of R.T. auxiliary, and several other Clinton clubs. Surviving are her husband; one son, Orrie W. Judd, Clinton; a brother, Henry Paulsen, of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, a twin, Mrs. Frank A. Swanson, and Mrs. Earl Baker, both of Clinton; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six nieces; and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herman. Women of the Moose will meet in a group in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday.
