Davison, Eunice Virginia Dague "Sue"

Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Jack, of First Presbyterian Church in Andrew, officiating.

MAQUOKETA — Eunice Virginia “Sue” Dague Davison, 84, of Maquoketa, died Monday at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born July 17, 1923, in Millville, Wis., to Delbert and Edith Edwards Dague. After her parents divorced, she was raised by her mother and her stepfather, Henry Weets. She married Frank D. Davison on May 26, 1941, in Memphis, Mo. He died in 1991. She was a homemaker and also farmed with her husband for many years first north of Andrew and later in the Fulton area. She attended First Presbyterian Church, Andrew.

Survivors include her children, Frankie (Ella) Davison of Lacon, Ill., Karen (Jack) Ryan of Belvidere, Ill., Donnie (Sharon) Davison of Maquoketa and Cheryl (John) Geber of Maquoketa; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; three half brothers, John (Mary) Weets of Maquoketa, Paul (Judy) Dague of Clinton and Lee Dague of Wisconsin; and one half sister, Virginia McClain of Morrison, Ill.

Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous of Iowa or First Presbyterian Church, Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepfather, three sisters, one brother and one nephew.
