Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lahey Funeral Home, Lost Nation.
SERVICES: A celebration of his life will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m., at Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation, with the Rev. Paul R. Skelley officiating.

LOST NATION — Allen L. Edleman, 69, of Lost Nation, Iowa, died Thursday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.Burial will be held in the Lost Nation Cemetery, Lost Nation.

Allen Lee Edleman was born on May 20, 1938 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Edwin and Lyra Browne Edleman. He married Konnie Feuss on June 17, 1961, in Lost Nation, Iowa.He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Edleman retired from the Clinton County Road Department after more than 27 years. He most recently had been employed as a seasonal worker at River Valley Coop, Lost Nation. He was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation. He served on the Lost Nation-Elwood Telephone board and various church and civic boards.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jackie (Tim) Duwa, Lost Nation, and Janet (Lee) Scott, Holland; four grandchildren; and a sister, Maxine Feddersen, Lost Nation.
