Visitation: 9:30 a.m. until the service time Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clinton. Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way, is in charge of arrangements.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Thomas Hennen officiating.

CLINTON — Gene “Jim” Edward Bisson, 82, of Clinton, died Tuesday at his home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom, Karl, Kurt, and Jon Hinrichsen, Steve Niles, and DuWayne Wessles.

He was born July 1, 1925, in Clinton to William Fanning and Freda Lena Heythaler Bisson. He married Rose Machne in 1942 she passed away in 1981. He later married Jean Pringle Hinrichsen on Oct. 20, 1990, in Clinton. He was a high school graduate. He was a member of the United States Army. He was employed with Do All in Cleveland as a machinist. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish where he did mission work.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; three sons, Gene (Jody) Bisson of San Jose, Calif., Larry (Cindy) Bisson of Katy, Texas, and Richard (Linda) Bisson of Avon Lake, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Donna (Steve) Niles of Wildwood, Mo., and Linda (DuWayne) Wessles of Waterloo; five stepsons, Tom (Nancy) Hinrichsen of Fairfax, Va., Karl (Maureen) Hinrichsen of Centreville, Va., Kurt Hinrichsen of Burnsville, Minn., Klaus (Jane) Hinrichsen of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Jon (Nannette) Hinrichsen of Clinton; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Lois (Bob) Reeves of Strongsville, Ohio; one brother, William Bisson of Medina, Ohio; and three sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Bisson of Clinton, Peg (Pete) Lawrence of Fort Myers, Fla., and June (Lee) Sullens of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one grandchild, three sisters and three brothers.
