SERVICES: 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Hamilton, pastor of Community United Church of Christ officiating.

FULTON, Ill. — Wanda Joyce Bailey, 79, of Galesburg, Ill., and formerly of Fulton, died Wednesday at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Davy, W. Va., to Denny and Effie Maude Kennedy Bailey. She married Clayton A. Bailey on May 30, 1949, in Baileysville, W. Va. He died in 1990. She lived in Fulton from 1955 until 1973 when she moved to Galesburg. She worked with the Eaton Corp., Savanna, Ill.; Swifts, Clinton; Drives Manufacturing, Fulton; Rockwell International, Galesburg; and retired from the Admiral Corp., Galesburg. She was a past member of Community United Church of Christ, Savanna, and Savanna Women of the Moose.

Survivors include three sons, Stephen (Bonnie) Bailey of Fulton, Michael (Emily) Bailey and Anthony Bailey, both of Galesburg; two daughters, Sandra (Jim) Kelly and Denise (Ken) Merema, both of Fulton; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
