The Clinton Herald Requiem high mass for Mrs. George (Nellie) Holm, 73, 430 14th Ave. S., who died Wednesday in the Albright nursing home in Maquoketa will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Dalton funeral home, where visitation begins at 7 p.m. today. Mrs. Holm was born Oct. 4, 1893, in Clinton, the daughter of John and Mary Keough McGovern. She was married to George Holm, July 6, 1936, in Clinton. He died in 1949. She was a member of St. Mary's church. Surviving are two brothers, J.T. and W.F. McGovern of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
