The Advertiser Saturday October 21, 1922 p. 6 Mr. and Mrs. Clem Droste, living four miles northwest of Lyons, mourn the passing of their daughter, Bernadette Elizabeth, who died last evening at 9:30 o'clock after an illness of two weeks with diptheria. Bernardette Elizabeth at the time of her passing was 13 years old and was a senior in St. Boniface school. She was a favorite with all who knew her, of a sunny disposition and pleasing personality. She leaves her parents, three sister, Angeline, Berniece and Marie, and five brothers, Henry, Weiner, Joseph, Leo and Arnold; also a grand-mother, Mrs. B. Manemann, of North Sixth street, Lyons, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Eva Brinkman. Private funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with Rev. J.M. Tritz officiating at the grave. Interment in St. Boniface cemetery.
