Lillian P. Watts

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

CLINTON — Lillian P. Watts, 80, of Clinton, died Friday at Mercy North Hospital.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Doug Heppner, Linton Reynolds, Ron Cook, Todd Watts, Gary Watts, Kevin McQuistion and Colton Kenworthy.

She was born Aug. 4, 1926, in Bassett, Neb., to Bryan and Marvel Butterfield Sparr. She married George J. Watts on July 4, 1944, in Staton, Neb.

She was employed with Clinton High School in the food service department. She also was employed with A.C. Nielsen’s.

She was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Pardee of Clinton; one son, James (Jean) Watts of Riverside; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Faye (Chuck) Dahl of Meadowgrove, Neb., Ruth Marquardt of Tilden, Neb.; and one brother, Donald (Teresa) Sparr of Post Falls, Idaho.

A memorial fund will be established.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.

Death date: Feb. 9, 2007
