Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. The Rev. Robert Harness will be officiating.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

DEWITT — Donald E. Feldpausch, 72, of DeWitt, died Friday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Burial will be in Big Rock Cemetery with graveside military rites.

He was born June 24,1934, in DeWitt to John and Marguerite Martin Feldpausch.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He worked in the welding business and had a wrecker business in DeWitt. He was partners with Martha Petersen for 30 years at Martha’s Cafe, DeWitt.

Survivors include one son, Christan of New Rock, S.D.; three grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Paarmann of DeWitt; brothers, Raymond of DeWitt, Joseph (Cheryle) of Fulton, Ill., and Tom (Mavis) of York, Pa.; companion, Martha Petersen of DeWitt; sister-in-law, Arlene Geer of New Liberty; brother-in law, Art Petersen of New Liberty; and one cousin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Death date: Feb. 9, 2007
