Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston.

SERVICES: 3 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston, with the Rev. Gregory Geier officiating.

CLINTON — Dennis K. Wilhelm, 59, of Clinton and formerly of Miles, died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Iowa City.

Burial will be in Preston Cemetery.

Military rites will be accorded.

He was born March 22, 1947, to Kenneth and Vera Lampe Wilhelm in Preston.

He attended Miles schools and graduated from Miles High School in 1965.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 until 1969.

He was a self-employed truck driver for more than 30 years.

He was a member of the Eagle Club, Clinton.

Survivors include his mother, Vera Wilhelm of Clinton; three sons, Troy (Lori Wilson) Wilhelm of Sabula, Chad (Heather) Wilhelm of Preston and Aaron (Candice Hagen) Wilhelm of Clinton; five grandchildren; two brothers, Durwin (Brenda) Wilhelm of Preston and Dave (Anna Kilburg) Wilhelm of Clinton; and two sisters, Dianna Shirley of Camanche and Debbie (Duane) Johnson of Clinton.

A memorial fund has been established.
