Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison. The Rev. James Camp, associate pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church, will be officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Grace Jean Dykstra, 78, of Morrison, died Tuesday at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Quincy, Ill., to Peter and Cornelia Hamstra Ven Huizen. She married Robert E. Dykstra on Oct. 31, 1952, in Morrison.

She was educated in Morrison grade and high schools.

Prior to her marriage, she worked with Wessel Jewelry and the Morrison jewelry store. She also farmed along with her husband in the rural Morrison area and was a private housekeeper and housekeeper at Pleasant View Nursing Home for 18 years.

She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carol (Dennis) Wilson of Galesburg, Ill., and Beth (Rick) Poen of Bourbonnais, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one brother, John (Mary Jane) Ven Huizen of Morrison.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
