Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hanover United Methodist Church.

SERVICES: Noon Saturday at the church with the Revs. Kendrick and Lynne Matthews officiating.

HANOVER, Ill. — Nancy J. McKinley, 63, of Hanover, died Friday at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Fla.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover.

She was born Dec. 11, 1943, to Wilfred and Margaret Virtue Armstrong, in Savanna, Ill. She married John McKinley on Oct. 27, 1962, in Hanover.

She attended Black Country School in rural Hanover and graduated from Hanover High School in 1961. She went on to attend Bayless Business School, Dubuque.

She was a secretary with the Savanna Army Depot, eventually moving up to quality control clerk. She worked 10 years as secretary to the superintendent of schools with the Amboy (Ill.) School District. She worked since August of 2000 with the Miner Insurance Agency, Hanover, where she was a secretary and an insurance agent.

She was a member of Hanover United Methodist Church and the women’s club at the church.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Tamara (Capt. Paul) Fuligni of Bremerton, Wash.; mother, Margaret Armstrong of Hanover; one brother, John (Cheri) Armstrong of Saucier, Miss.; and two sisters, Marjorie (Rod) Brand of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Linda (Forrest) Pratt of Hanover.

Memorials may be made to Hanover United Methodist Church toward a new organ.
