FULTON, Ill. — Donald A. Phillips, 74, of Fulton, died Saturday at Harbor Crest Nursing Home.
He was born March 16, 1932, in Chicago to Edward and Goldie Utterbach Phillips.
He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1955.
He was an industrial electrician with Estwig Manufacturing, Rockford, Ill., before retiring in 1990.
Survivors include one son, Eric Phillips of Fulton; two grandchildren; two brothers, Wendell Phillips of Manteno, Ill., and Harry Phillips of Des Plaines, Ill.; and one sister, Gayle Sparks of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Death date: Feb. 3, 2007
