Dorothy Grace “Granny” Funderburgh

Visitation: 4 to 5 p.m. today at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison.

SERVICES: None.

MORRISON, Ill. — Dorothy Grace “Granny” Funderburgh, 90, of Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison, died Sunday at the center.

Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.

She was born March 7, 1916, in Elmira, Ill., to John and Cora Delphy Phillips. She married Willis Funderburgh on April 28, 1934, in Hillsdale, Ill. He died in 1970.

She was educated in Elmira grade schools.

She worked with Elkay Manufacturing, Lanark, Ill., for 20 years. After her retirement, she cooked at several restaurants in Chadwick, Ill.

Survivors include four daughters, Frances Dessing of Mendota, Ill., Ann (Jeff) Peters of Freeport, Ill., Carshon Funderburgh of Sterling, Ill., and Linda (Randy) Smit of Morrison; one son, David Funderburgh of Chadwick; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald (Barb) Phillips of Galva, Ill.

Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, one son-in-law, three sisters and two brothers.
