Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Lloyd officiating.

CLINTON — Elaine C. Finch, 82, of Clinton, died Tuesday at her daughter’s home.

Burial will be in St. Ireaneus Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Neil and Eric Rasmussen, Greg Brown, Joel Brown, Paul Maze and Jeff Bonde.

She was born Oct. 3, 1924, in Bellevue to Charles and Edith Genther Dody. She married Marvin Rasmussen on Dec. 8, 1945, in Clinton. He died in 1960. She later married Harry Finch on June 9, 1961, in Clinton. He died in 2002.

She moved to Clinton in 1941.

She was a 1943 graduate of Lyons High School.

She was employed with the quality control department with International Paper for 28 years before retiring in 1988. Prior to that, she was employed with General Electric for three years and the Clinton Lock Co. for seven years. She also owned and operated Ramp-way Bait Shop with her husband.

She attended Church of the Open Door, Clinton.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen (Gary) Watters of Clinton, Linda (Ron) Smith of Norco, Calif., and Jolynn (Steve) Pelham of Clinton; one son, Marvin (Teresa) Rasmussen of Clinton; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and one grandchild.
