Beverly R. Garrett

Funeral services for Beverly R. Garrett will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007, 2:00 PM at Stephens Memorial Chapel, Pryor, Oklahoma.

Beverly R. Garrett was born August 18, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa to George and Vivian (Johnson) Marlowe. She departed this life on January 22, 2007 at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 4 days.

Beverly had lived in Pryor since March of 2006. She moved here from Riverside, California where she had lived for several years. She was married to James William Garrett on August 8, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa. Since moving to Oklahoma she enjoyed just going for drives and taking in the scenery of Oklahoma. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was a very important part of her life.

She is survived by husband James of the home, son George Garrett and wife Betty of Pryor, daughter Marsha Urrabazo and husband John of Phoenix, Arizona, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Marian Griebel of Grand Mound, Iowa, Shirley Adams of Terre Haute, Indiana, Sharon Johnson of Iowa City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
