SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. Jeremy Yowell, pastor of Woodbine Grace Bible Church, officiating.

WOODBINE, Ill. — Ruth Miller, 90, of Freeport, Ill., and formerly of Woodbine, died Monday at Freeport Health Network Memorial Hospital.

Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 8, 1916, in Woodbine to Ralph and Emma Schubert Heidenreich. She married William A. Miller on Oct. 16, 1937, in Dixon, Ill. He died in 1993.

She graduated from Stockton (Ill.) High School.

She and her husband farmed in the Woodbine area. She also worked 22 years with Woodbine Office of National Farm Loan Association.

She was a member of Grace Bible Church, Woodbine.

Survivors include two sons, Joel (Joan) Miller of Orange Park, Fla., and Clair (Sharon) Miller of Gurnee, Ill.; one sister, Mila Winter of Woodbine; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Ministries of New Mom’s and The Mailbox Club.
