Visitation: Following the service at First United Methodist Church. Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Herb Shafer and Dennis Glew officiating.

CLINTON — Ivalyn K. Jurgensen, 94, of Clinton, died Friday at Bickford Cottage, Clinton.

Private family graveside services will be held at Elvira Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Alex Karras Jr., Peter Karras, Carolyn Karras-Olivier, George Karras, Renald Karras, Brandt Bohlmann, Robert Bohlmann, Ivalyn Wauford and Bonnie Pape.

She was born Nov. 16, 1912, in Delmar to William and Ivalyn Mason Kennedy. She married Reynold P. Jurgensen on Sept. 12, 1936, in Clinton; he died in 1997.

She was a 1930 graduate of Clinton High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clinton; P.E.O Sisterhood Chapter JW and was active at the Clinton Country Club and YMCA.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce (Richard) Krogman of Clinton; one son-in-law, Raymond Bohlmann of Creve Coeur, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
