The Clinton Herald Monday November 12, 1962 p. 11 Mrs. William G. Miller, 61, of 2536 Liberty Ave., died Saturday in University Hospitals in Iowa City. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the Dalton funeral home. St. Mary's parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. A prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home will precede the Mass. Katherine McGovern was born Nov. 20, 1900, in Bryant, the daughter of John Patrick and Mary Keough McGovern. She was married June 1, 1937 to William G. Miller. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. John (Marian) Barker of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Nell Holm of Clinton; two brothers, J.T. McGovern and W.F. McGovern, both of Clinton; two granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
