The Clinton Herald April 16, 1977 B. Henry Manneman, 94, of 1924 N. 2nd St., died Friday in Mercy Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Irenaeus Church concelebrated by the Rev. James Lawrence and Mr. Manemann's grandsons, the Revs. Thomas Spiegel and John Spiegel. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Sunday at Pape Funeral Home, where the Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be Joseph Manemann, Richard Spiegel, Stephen Kreinbring, Larry Schmidt and Dan Schmidt. Mr. Manemann was born March 19, 1883, in Hampshire Township, Clinton County, the son of Henry H. and Barbara Brinkman Manemann. He married Mary Cahill in September of 1909. She died in 1918. He married Anna Cahill in 1924. She died in 1950. He was a member of St. Irenaeus Church, and had farmed in Hampshire Township for many years until moving to Clinton in 1943. Survivors include one son, Norbert H., of Clinton; four daughters, Mrs. Ben Spiegel of Burlington, Sister Mary Ann Geraldine, BVM of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. William A. Schmidt of Brookfield, Wis.; and Mrs. Lloyd Kreinbring of Clinton; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Manning of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his two wives and four sisters.
