DEWITT — Lillie M. Scott, 89, of DeWitt, died Wednesday at Genesis Medical Center–DeWitt.
She was born Sept. 9, 1917, in Cumby, Texas, to Ernest E. and Mary Jane Wilson Webb. She married Floyd Scott on Oct. 28, 1933, in Miller Grove, Texas. He died in 1989.
She worked at many retail sales businesses in Greenville, Texas, including managing The Bootery for 25 years.
She was a lifetime member of Salem Kinser Methodist Church while living in Greenville.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane (Fred) Hulsey of DeWitt; and two grandchildren.
