Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Judy Heinrich officiating.

MAQUOKETA —Lawrence L. “Tony” Brammerlo, 75, of Maquoketa, died Thursday at his home.

Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Mount Carroll, Ill.

He was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Spragueville to Leonard F. and Anna Marie Brammer Brammerlo. He married Betty J. Meggers on Feb. 28, 1960, in Low Moor.

He was educated in country schools and graduated from Delmar High School in 1949.

He worked with Clinton Engines, Maquoketa, as a forklift operator. He then farmed for many years and also sold Moorman’s Feed. He lived in Grand Mound from 1960 to 1962; Mount Carroll, Ill., 1963 to 1969; Lanark, Ill., 1970 to 1977; Preston, 1978; and Maquoketa, 1979 to present.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Maquoketa. He was a former Mounted Patrol member.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Lorna Larkey of Maquoketa and Gayle (Mrs. Lon) Beversdorf of Pensacola, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

A Lawrence L. “Tony” Brammerlo Memorial Fund has been established.
