SERVICES: 11 a.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church, 438 Fourth Ave. North, Clinton, with the Rev. Nathaniel Johnson officiating.
CLINTON — Helen Fay Coleman, 62, of Clinton, died Friday at the Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility.
Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
She was born July 20, 1944, in Independence, La., to Nathaniel and Velma Mack Russell. She married Charlie Coleman on April 30, 1980.
She graduated from Hammond High School.
She was employed as a nurse’s aide at Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she held positions of secretary, treasurer and trustee. She also was a member of the church choir and was a deaconette.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Nate Coleman of Rock Island, Ill.; three stepsons, Randy Coleman of Memphis, Tenn., Charles Coleman of Kentucky and Milton Coleman of Grenata, Miss.; one stepdaughter, Mildred Coleman of Mississippi; one grandchild; one sister, Estelle Russell of Ponchatoula, La.; and one brother, Glen Russell of Ponchatoula.
Memorials may be made to the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
