SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
CLINTON — William G. Meyermann Sr., 65, of Clinton, died Monday at Mercy North Hospital.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 12, 1941, in Clinton to William F. and Leala Hemmerich Meyermann. He married Rosalie Whitley on Nov. 19, 1961, in Grand Mound.
He graduated from Clinton High School.
He worked as a private contractor, doing pipefitting, welding and farming.
Survivors include eight children, Debra (Charles) Barr of Clinton, Peggy Kelly of Nashville, Ind., William (Dianna) Meyermann Jr., Christy Meyermann of Clinton, Amy Meyermann of Clinton, Steven Meyermann of Columbus, Neb., Cindy Meyermann of Clinton and Stacy Meyermann of Muscatine; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herb (Joyce) Meyermann of Elvira and Arnie Meyermann of Camanche; and one sister, Phyllis (Junior) Crippen of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one brother.
